The HSC course for Business Studies focusses on four main areas. The first being the strategies for effective operations management in large businesses. Secondly the course concentrates on the main elements involved in the development and implementation of successful marketing strategies. This is followed up by studying the role of interpreting financial information in the planning and management of a business and the final area of study looks at the contribution of human resource management to business performance.

The HSC course adds the element of focussing on large businesses operating in a global environment.
